AXEZE has launched FaceID, said to be the world’s first embedded facial recognition system.
According to the Australian based company, FaceID uses a unique Dual Sensor facial recognition algorithm, making facial registration and recognition fast and accurate.
Axeze says the system uses adaptive source light technology to work under different lighting conditions. It is also backed up by software which includes Time Attendance Setup, Access Control and User Identification.
Axeze claims FaceId is designed for offline access control and attendance management in enterprises, public institutions, hospitality premises and private homes.
The company says the device can replace cards, keys and clocks and solves the ‘cold finger’ problem found in fingerprint scanning systems.
FaceID supports both TCI/IP communication and USB ports for uploading and downloading information.
