STENTOFON Communications Australia has developed its own open process control (OPC) server and application programming interface (API).

STENTOFON Communications Australia says the development of its own OPC service integrates key security components. It will allow for open connectivity of industrial automation devices and security systems by sharing information between different applications that support the OPC standard.

According to STENTOFON Communications Australia, the OPC standard is ideal to integrate large systems, such as security, and simplify automation processes.

STENTOFON Communications Australia developed its own API based on Microsoft .NET as an alternative for servers that do not support OPC.
