September Patch Tuesday to bring five critical fixes

IN NEXT week’s Patch Tuesday, Microsoft will issue another five critical security bulletins.

The company said this month's bulletins are all for Windows, and all are rated critical as they allow remote code execution.

Two of the bulletins are critical on all currently supported versions of Windows.

One is critical on Vista and important on Server 2008, while another is critical on Vista and Server 2003, and important on 2000 and XP. The fifth is critical on 2000 and XP, and moderate on Server 2003.

Microsoft will also release updated versions of the Malicious Software Removal Tool and the Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter.
