Fortinet launches FortiGate-30B security device in Australia, NZ

NETWORK security provider Fortinet today announced the Australian and New Zealand availability of the FortiGate-30B.

FortiGate-30B is a multi-threat security device that offers powerful network protection commonly used by large organisations, at a price affordable to small businesses according to the company.

Designed to be suitable for the smallest office environments, the FortiGate-30B provides integrated security in an easy to install, compact desktop form factor.

Fortinet has also introduced the FortiWifi-30B to deliver in-depth security for small offices needing wireless LAN connectivity.

According to the company, once installed, the FortiGate-30B can automatically stop threats from crossing the network, making it easy for small businesses and teleworkers to protect themselves.

The FortiGate-30B and FortiWifi-30B can be centrally managed, making it easy for larger businesses to provide secure remotely managed environments for employees working from home, or in small office locations.

Fortinet products are distributed in Australia by Ingram Micro, WhiteGold Solutions and Firewall Systems.

Australian pricing for the FortiGate-30B starts from $375 ex GST, with the FortiWifi-30B starting from $495 ex GST.
