DUE to business growth, Dimension Data is seeking 20 new employees to help support the company in the security industry.

The company has experienced a 23% growth since last year, but has also seen a growth trend globally across its security business.

“In a tough climate such as this, clients are more cognisant of government compliance, risk management, and governance requirements, all of which are factors driving the continuing growth of our security business both internationally and within Australia,” Dimension Data general manager for security, Darren O’Loughlin says.

He says Dimension Data has focused the company towards business-driven architecture with moving security to becoming a business enabler.

Dimension Data claims it will be interested in hiring certified security architects and security consultants who understand security frameworks, as well as security technical assessment reviews, including penetration testing and areas the company is confident in such as engineering.Hon Paul Holloway

“We will look for more specialised skills to help us meet increased customer demand and requirements for security multi-sourcing engagements,” O’Loughlin says.

“Our goal is to ultimately allow organisations to get on with their day-to-day business by being a specialist security firm that fulfils their end to end security requirements by providing a ‘plan, build and support’ lifecycle services framework.”
