ADT Security Services has announced a major victory in a patent lawsuit in China against ZhenTai Science & Technology Company.

According to ADT, ZhenTai was found liable for infringing upon its Sensormatic anti-theft Ultra.Max label technology. Under court rulings, ZhenTai is now prohibited from making or selling its Acousto-Magnetic (AM) Anti-Theft Labels.

"We are pleased with the court ruling and the confidence it should give customers that they can continue to rely on the integrity and high performance of ADT's Sensormatic anti-theft solutions," Kelvin Lam, ADT Security Retail and Security Products vice president, Asia Pacific says.
